Have you been “California Dreamin'”? Many people choose the Golden State as their summer family vacation destination, and for good reason. From deserts to mountains, from seashores to theme parks, California literally has it all. And true to that promise, there are a lot of choices for a 4th of July California timeshare vacation, and ways for you and your family to celebrate America’s birthday.

San Francisco
Rent a San Francisco timeshare and this beautiful City by the Bay will keep your family entertained with cable car rides, succulent steamed crab, and even a tour through Alcatraz prison, while they’re waiting for the Big Night. And San Francisco will not disappoint – it is setting off Twin 4th of July fireworks displays! One will be released from Aquatic Pier just below Ghirardelli Square, and the other from a barge near Pier 39 (see photo provided by pier39.com).

Hollywood and Disneyland
An Anaheim timeshare rental will make it easy for you to select either of these two 4th of July venues. Disneyland has fireworks every night of the summer season, but on the 4th of July it pulls out all the stops. With a special patriotic show, synchronized to stirring music, you’re sure to get goosebumps. And this year Disneyland will showcase its special fireworks show for four nights, July 2 – July 5.

The Hollywood Bowl is the place to be for its 4th of July concert with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of conductor Leonard Slatkin. The unique acoustics of this natural amphitheater will allow you to hear this rousing music as you never have before. Stay tuned for the exciting firework display afterwards.

Newport Beach
Rent a Laguna Beach timeshare or Newport Coast timeshare and head to Newport Beach for the largest fireworks display in Southern California. Newport also celebrates the 4th of July with California’s biggest patriotic boat parade, the Old Glory Boat Parade. It’s sponsored by the American Legion who describes it this way: “Every year you are in for a patriotic surprise as all kinds of boats try to outshine each other waiting for the loudest ovations from onlookers, as they vie for awards in the categories of ‘best decorated,’ ‘outstanding music,’ ‘finest costumes,’ ‘most creative animation’ and ‘greatest spirit.'”

Lake Tahoe
Rent a California Side Lake Tahoe timeshare by this stunningly beautiful alpine lake to see their special take on 4th of July fireworks, “Lights on the Lake.” The American Pyrotechnics Association rates Lake Tahoe’s spectacular Fourth of July fireworks celebration one of the Top 5 displays in the nation, and it’s the largest synchronized display in the western U.S.
