6 Top International Timeshare Travel Spots for 2013

Want to hit the hotspots on your timeshare vacation this year? The Wall Street Journal has released its list of the top international travel destinations for 2013.

The WSJ conducted a survey of 1,045 U.S.-based travel agency owners, managers and travel agents, and based its list on the numbers of actual bookings.

Any one of these exciting 6 spots from the WSJ list would make a great timeshare rental vacation.

1. Cancun (see top photo). Known as Mexico’s Caribbean Jewel, Cancun is the ultimate beach destination. A world-famous destination for honeymooners, and college students on spring break, the beaches, water parks and other amusements such as the proximity of ancient Mayan ruins, make Cancun a great place for a family vacation as well.

A Cancun timeshare rental starts at just $100/night.

2. London. This iconic European capital makes the list due to its amazing ability to have something for everyone. Sightseeing includes a palace, a fortress, crown jewels, and even where the notorious pirate Captain Kidd was hanged.

Shopping ranges from high-end Harrod’s in the Royal Borough of Kensington, to the local Portobello Road Market in Notting Hill. Activities can be enjoyed in manicured parks and at top theater productions in the West End.

Stay in a London timeshare rental for just $185/night.

3. Cabo San Lucas. This Mexico resort town, known simply as "Cabo" by Americans, is located, along with San Jose del Cabo, at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Cabo is known for its broad sandy beaches, world-class scuba diving, abundant marine life, the distinctive sea arch El Arco de Cabo San Lucas, and a raucous party atmosphere.

Many beachfront Cabo San Lucas timeshare rentals are available, starting at just $93/night.

5. Paris. The allure of this lovely city, known as the City of Lights, and also the City for Lovers, is undeniable. Elegant and glamorous Paris can either be fun and over-the-top with its haute couture, or intimate with its sidewalk cafes. Its charm and colorful beauty in spring has been immortalized in numerous songs.

Stay in a Paris timeshare rental for just $132/night.

4. Jamaica  This Caribbean island is just right for taking you out of the reality of daily life. With nature tourism, zip lines, miles of white powdery beaches, world-championship golf courses, authentic souvenir shopping, basking in the seductive warmth of the ever-present sunshine while sipping exotic tropical drinks – you’ll go home a new person.

Jamaica timeshare rentals start at $71/night. Numerous timeshare exchanges are available in Jamaica  as well.

6. Tuscany. The best time to enjoy Tuscany is in the autumn. The incredible beauty of the mosaic of the thousand colors of fall transform the rolling hills into paintings.

Apart from the natural beauty of the countryside that would enchant any visitor, fall offers a great opportunity for wine tasting. From November to December wine festivals take place all across the region, offering visitors a real insiders’ look at this authentic Tuscan experience.

Tuscany timeshare rentals start at $171/night.
