Terror, the Walking Dead – It’s All About a Halloween Timeshare Vacation!

There are the fun Halloween events for the little tots in your family, and then there are the ones just right for teens and adults. Plan a timeshare vacation to California or Florida for a taste of a real Haunting Halloween!

1. Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights. The park’s world-famous Studio Tour attraction traditionally undergoes a temporary makeover during the Halloween event, and this year’s version will see hordes of zombies terrorizing guests. Invading the Universal Studios Hollywood backlot, the undead will be swarming over a number of sets from famous movies and TV productions.

The 2012 incarnation of the “Terror Tram” at Universal Studios Hollywood is themed around The Walking Dead TV series.

“The Terror Tram is one of the most popular Halloween Horror Nights attractions since it’s the only time people can walk on the historic Universal backlot where the horror film genre was born,” explains Creative Director John Murd.

“The juxtaposition of the backlot’s rural setting amid a small town devastated by a horrific plane wreckage complements the TV series’ sets almost to a tee and provides the ideal backdrop to showcase the ‘walkers’ from AMC’s The Walking Dead, on a grand scale.”

A horror maze dedicated to The Walking Dead, dubbed The Walking Dead: Dead Inside, is also included in Universal Studios’ line-up.

2. Busch Gardens Tampa – Howl-O-Scream. “Keep Calm and Fight Zombies” is one of the many signs seen around this Florida theme park during its 2012 annual Halloween event. The “Keep Calm and…” signs are based on the iconic signs that were posted throughout London during the WWII blitz and that became popular again during the London Olympics this past summer.

Fright Feast is billed as the most deranged dinner show in town, and even comes with its own Warning! This event contains intense adult content such as violence, gore, and blood!

Seen creeping through the park is this year’s monster, dubbed Trickster, a nasty dude you can only hope you don’t encounter.

In its 13th year, Howl-O-Scream has evolved into an event that gives you some very serious startles, offered up by an eager cast of “scare-actors.” Nowhere in this extremely large park – are you safe.
