Disney Gives Cheers to Volunteers

Thinking of a Disneyland or Disney World vacation as you travel to your timeshare next year? Well, if you participate in the “Give a Day. Get a Disney Day.” program that starts on January 1st, 2010, you could receive one free single day ticket to the Disneyland® or Disney World® theme park.

"Give a Day. Get a Disney Day." is a program that celebrates and inspires volunteerism. Disney is working with HandsOn Network to in the hopes that one million people will provide a day of service to one of their well deserving charities. And, as a way to thank you for your hard work, Disney is giving you a free ticket good for one day admission to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme park.

Starting January 1, 2010, you can sign up for the program at www.GiveADayGetADisneyDay.com. All members of your family are eligible to participate, so, make is a family event! Get the kids involved in deciding which charity to volunteer for (from the list provided on their Web site), show your kids the importance of helping others and get a free ticket for everyone in the family. You must have a residence in the United States, Puerto Rico, or Canada to sign up.

Here’s how it works:
  1. Go to GiveADayGetADisneyDay.com and sign up.

  2. Complete your chosen volunteer activity from their list.

  3. Once the HandsOn Network has verified your service, you will receive an email from Disney prompting you to log in and print vouchers that may be redeemed for your free ticket.
Follow along on their interactive Cheers to Volunteers web site with the Muppets and be entertained by Kermit and Miss Piggy as you see the progress of the program throughout the year.
Plan ahead and get your accommodations secured now with a timeshare rental or timeshare exchange. Choose an Anaheim timeshare if you are planning a trip to Disneyland in California, or an Orlando timeshare if you prefer to visit Disney World in Florida. You can even continue the magic and stay right in a Disney timeshare.

If there's a better win/win than this great idea, I don't know what it is.
